KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (July 24, 2019) – National youth development organization Camp Fire announced today that Dave Albano, President and CEO of RestorePoint, Inc., has been appointed to its National Board of Trustees.

Prior to RestorePoint, Dave rose through the ranks and enjoyed a successful 30-year career with AT&T Inc. in a variety of leadership roles. Today, he runs his own high-growth data protection and analytics company, which services enterprise clients globally.

“Along with his extensive business experience, we couldn’t be happier to welcome Dave’s fervor for serving youth.” said Greg Zweber, Camp Fire National Headquarters President & CEO. “Adding yet another well-accomplished board member to Camp Fire is only going to allow us to further expand our work for families across the U.S.”

Dave graduated from Wilkes University with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. He holds an MBA from Nova University and is also an alumnus of Columbia University, where he attended the Senior Executive Program for International Business.

Dave’s involvement in community service has spanned his career with a passion for fostering and enabling the development of youth. He has actively served on the boards of Youth Villages and Big Brothers Big Sisters and continues to enjoy mentoring at the high school and college level.

“Dave’s decades of IT expertise and passion for youth development will be beneficial to us in today’s technological, data-driven world,” said Board Chair Jane Parker, and CEO of InterbrandHealth.
