Camp Fire has teamed up with 12 of the nation’s leading youth programs to launch a joint national campaign: Be a Champion, #InvestInKids. Our goal? Increase support for youth programs across the country.
We’re asking you to take action. Since you’re reading this, you obviously care about kids and youth development. Thank you!
Want to make an impact this month? Three options to #InvestinKids now: Give your 1) dollars, 2) time, or 3) your voice.
VOICE is perhaps the easiest and you can take action NOW. March 19th is Camp Fire’s Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® #KidDay – a day for adults to take time to write/tell a young person in their life what makes them incredible. Last year 10 million people celebrated #AIKD. Don’t miss out this year!
Everyone wants to feel loved, acknowledged and appreciated. Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® #AIKD is important because it’s our chance to pause and acknowledge the power of your words. The simple message of, “I see you. You matter to me. You are important,” can change the course of a young person’s life and impact how they see and value themselves. What’s more worthy of your time?
So, this March, we invite you to be a champion and #InvestInKids by telling a young person in your life why they matter to you for #KidDay. Where or how you say it doesn’t matter – it’s just important that you do.
P.S. – In case you still weren’t 100% convinced, Harrison Ford has a message for you…
